Much of my work is about connections -with people, places and objects.

It often reflects a disconnection, obscurity or misconception.

My working method revolves around taking found and collected, familiar objects, related to a site or specific event, and reworking them.

The act of making and drawing is crucial to the work. The knowledge that other people have crafted, used or cherished the objects I use, is felt.

It is concept.

It is extracting history. Creating a dialogue between the object, the activity and it's past.

It is renewable, sustainable.
